Beavertown Brewery

In 2019, Beavertown and Readie construction turned to Ancorite to provide solutions to its flooring needs for a new state-of-the-art brewery in Enfield, London. After receiving investment from global beverage giant Heineken, Beavertown Brewery embarked on creating the future of its brand with the construction of a new £40m facility with the capacity to create 90 million pints per annum. With decades of past experience, Ancorite was selected for its extensive expertise and knowledge of the food and beverage industry. With over 5000m2 of flooring, hundreds of linear metres of 304 stainless steel channels and 316 stainless steel kerbs – plus, the installation of a complex network of falls to ensure free flow of wash water to the drainage systems – the task undertaken was immense. Ancorite’s Heavy Duty Argelith Vitrified Tiling System was selected for its hygiene, slip resistance, durability and ease of maintenance. The tough environment required a system that would resist heat, subsist heavy traffic and potential chemical spillages and withstand daily steam-cleaning, and the Ancorite HD vibration tile system laid into an epoxy bedding layer was the optimum choice. Throughout the project at Beavertown, the team ensured all detailing was carefully considered and executed, and that the work was delivered on time, within budget to the exacting needs of the client.
