Discreet Lifts

The PR9 Cantilever Platform Lift is discreet because when it is not in use it is concealed in a pit at the bottom of the steps. The platform forms parts of the floor at the foot of the stairs and therefore can be covered in a similar material to the surrounding area: lino, carpet, tiles etc., so that it blends into the room. It also means that it is not causing any obstruction to the use of the stairs, other than when it is used. This is ideal for home owners or building managers who do not have a lot of space but require a lift for wheelchair access. The picture shows a PR9 Platform Lift installation outdoors, which allows wheelchair access into a local church by lifting the user over the six steps and into the building. As you can see, when it is not in use, it is simply part of the floor!
