Public Access Lifts

For public buildings where public access is required to be available for all, it is essential that building owners install ramps or lifts where required so that wheelchair users can access all of the services on offer inside the building. Our platform lifts meet all of the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA regulations) and meet Part M of the Building Regulations, which provide instructions for manufacturers on the necessary dimensions for the public platform lifts or ramps. For the majority of cases this will mean a minimum platform size of 1400mm deep x 1100mm wide. Our PR1 vertical platform lift provides this minimum size but also with one of the smallest overall lift external sizes too, at just :1523mm deep x 1356mm wide. With a rated load of 400KG, small pit of 50mm or a pitless option with a short ramp, and no extra machine room required, our lift can fit into almost any building as a retro fit or new build project.
