After 40 years of devoted service to Ajax TOCCO Magnethermic, Tom Illencik has chosen to retire. Tom assumed the role of President in 2004 and was instrumental in building the business we work for today. Under Tom’s leadership, we achieved significant growth, doubling revenues and increasing from 12 to 27 locations globally.
Matt French will be Tom’s successor. Matt is a 34-year veteran with public company, AMETEK, Incorporated. He was most recently Senior Vice President of AMETEK’s Advanced Motion Solutions Division with sales topping $800 million. He has a demonstrated track record of growing business both organically and by acquisition which positions him well to build on the legacy Tom has created.
Matt and Tom will complete a measured transition process with Tom helping to ensure continued focus on key business objectives, including our commercial and customer strategy, and evolving our international organization.
