AMS RELEASE MEMJET® S1 COLOUR DIGITAL PRINTER

AMS are proud to announce the launch of the S1 colour envelope & packaging printer. The desktop printer has the capability to handle large production runs and can print full colour on to heavy stock up to 1cm in thickness. Currently exclusive to AMS in the UK, the US built S1 cardboard and envelope printer is capable of printing full process colour at the rate of 7,500 A5 sheets per hour, producing high-quality, cost-effective imaging. Using Memjet’s breakthrough technology, this innovative printer can printed full bleed, edge-to-edge on paper and card up to 1cm thick, 215mm wide and 762mm in length. Having the ability to print on to material up to 1cm in thickness makes the S1 printer ideal for printing colour on to plain, padded and card backed envelopes. It can also give card stock, boxes, kraft pouches and paper bags up to 254mm wide a professional, high quality appearance. The colour printer can also print on to substrates with windows (not on windows), ideal for retail industries. Also included are 5 high capacity ink tanks that each hold 250ml of ink, which combined with the long-life print heads, ensures the cost per page to print is kept low. On top of this the high res 7” colour touchscreen display includes an integrated control centre making the system easy to use.
