Job Description: Compressor Replacement on Samsung Condenser Area: Savoy Place, London Issue Identified: Following a call out, the engineer advised that the compressors had failed and required replacing. The main inverter compressor had burnt out and the main inverter board also required replacing at the same time. Works carried out: Isolated the unit electrically and mechanically. Recovered refrigerant into a dedicated recovery cylinder for safe disposal. Removed and replaced compressors, including hot works. Removed and replaced the inverter compressor. Pressure tested the system with Oxygen Free Nitrogen (OFN) and confirmed leak tight. Once proved released OFN to atmosphere and evacuated system to a minimum of 2 Torr. Re-charged with virgin refrigerant. Test ran and re-commissioned. Completed waste transfer note and handed to on-site representative. Completed F Gas records and cleared site.
