Pearl Manora Topside load-out, Thailand

Overview ALE has successfully completed the load-out of a 518t jacket and the weighing and transport of the 2740t Pearl Manora Topside at the Sattahip Yard in Thailand. During stage one of the project, the jacket structures were self-loaded onto the 30 axle lines SPMT for site transportation to the load-out quay and barge. All calculations for the mooring and ballasting were undertaken by ALE who provided and operated the mooring equipment, linkspan bridge system and ballasting pumps. The topside structure was self-loaded onto the one hundred and eight axle lines SPMT and transported from the construction area to the lifting position. A crane was then used to lift the topside onto the barge to complete the operation.
