Chuck problems: My chuck jaws are not seated correctly, how do I fix this?

Unscrew the chuck knob, open the chuck jaws just enough to remove the drill bit, then press down lightly on the top of the jaws until they bottom-out in the chuck jaw retainer slots. The jaws will then travel and secure the drill bit evenly.
