The Life-Point Pro Electrode pads are packaged in airtight, heavy duty foil from which they can be readily removed by tearing the perforated edge. Connecting the cable to the AED before putting it in the case will save you having to search for the pads later since when the AED is in its case you will not be able to connect it. The shelf-life of the electrode pads is approximately 18-24 months. The self-adhesive pads are made for Life-Point Pro AED and are for paediatric use only. Child pads are used for patients under 8 years old.
