The improvements are designed to create an even better environment for food packing, supporting the company's commitment to maintaining high levels of food safety while continuing to deliver reliable contract packing services for a wide range of products.
Supporting High Standards in Food Packing
Food contract packing requires tightly controlled processes, particularly where products are being handled, filled or repacked before reaching the customer.
WePack's cleanroom facilities are used to support the packing of ambient food products, including items such as sweets, chocolate bars, dry berries, supplements, sugar, salt, pepper, spice mixes, seeds, honey and coconut oil.
The current refurbishment is intended to further improve the working environment in which this activity takes place, helping the company maintain consistent standards of hygiene, quality and efficiency.
Certified Food Packing Facilities
WePack is BRCGS Food Certified and operates controlled production environments designed to minimise cross-contamination risks during food packing and filling operations.
The company also holds Soil Association organic certification and provides food packing services using a range of formats, including vertical bagging, sachets, pouches, flow wrapping, contract filling and liquid filling.
