Innovation prize for Pick&Place HP70

The fifth Automatica – International Trade Fair for Automation and Mechatronics – once again provided a staging area for innovations in the industry. The trade fair award was presented this year for the third time. It rewards trade fair exhibits which set new standards in technology, promise the user the maximum possible economic benefit and make the jury go "wow!". In the assembly category, WEISS took home the much sought-after trophy for its directly-driven twin-axis Pick&Place HP70. The jury praised the module's revolutionary design, which goes hand-in-hand with a slimline construction and extreme dynamics. During a ceremony at the Automatica Forum, Ken Fouhy, Publisher of the magazine "MaschinenMarkt", presented the award to Thomas Hess, Product Manager Handling at WEISS.
