Weiss Technik UK set for growth

Posted on 23rd August, 2018 “I am pleased to update you on the current status of Weiss Technik’s operations in the UK. Whilst it was regrettable that we recently had to close our manufacturing facility in Ebbw Vale, the business is now quickly moving towards a new strategy for sustained growth. Building upon our existing strengths, we are developing a totally customer-centric approach that will deliver considerable benefits to businesses operating our equipment, now and in the future. All Weiss Technik environmental test chambers are now sourced from our German parent company, Weiss Umwelttechnik (www.weiss-technik.com/en/company ). There’s no doubt that the German design, engineering and production facilities are the most advanced of their kind and set the standard for the industry. Our customers can now specify precisely the test chamber they need in the knowledge it benefits from the very latest technology. With plans for ongoing investment in place, I can confidently predict that our products will continue to lead the market for innovation, performance and value. We are also investing in our UK business infrastructure. Weiss Technik UK will retain its head office in Loughborough where our Sales, Service, Technical Support and Administration functions will be located. We will also be opening a new service warehouse to increase both our parts capacity and our equipment stockholding. We are currently recruiting and training specialist service engineers to strengthen our nationwide support to customers. I am conscious that the visibility of the Weiss Technik brand in the UK may have been lacking somewhat in recent times. So, we are also addressing this with the launch of a sales and marketing campaign promoting a new 3 year warranty and service offer. Most of our ClimeEvent, TempEvent and LabEvent test chambers are now available with 3 years warranty and servicing with parts and labour included in the price. The offer is available on selected chambers on orders placed by December 31st 2018. Full details and terms appear on this website.
