Weir & Carmichael Ltd are proud to announce their sponsorship of local children’s football team Memphis FC. The Kirkdale based under 11’s football club is part of the Scotland Road Saturday League. Weir & Carmichael also funded the team’s brand new football kit for the season. The teams manager, Phillip Boyle quoted “I would just like to say a big thank you to Weir & Carmichael for their generous offer to Sponsor this year’s Memphis FC Under 11’s Football Team. This was a big help as running a football team for children is very expensive with playing kits, league fees, FA affiliation, referee fees and football equipment to name a few of the outgoing costs. The team has been running for nearly 18 months now and are developing all the time which shows in the results as a very successful side.” Weir & Carmichael are proud of our Liverpool heritage and continue to look for ways to improve opportunities for the community in the surrounding area.
