Training Success for Print Supervisor

Industrial packaging and recycling solutions provider Weir & Carmichael are thrilled to announce that Print Supervisor Steven McIntyre has achieved an NVQ Level 2 certificate in Team Leading. Steven has worked for Weir & Carmichael for over 20 years and is a key part of the print team. “We are thrilled that Steven has done so well to finish and pass his NVQ so quickly. We feel that the training will enhance Steven’s already well established skills within his role and will provide a valuable addition to the print team” states Site Manager Barrie A Williams. Steven is the first employee to finish his NVQ out of twelve staff undertaking work based training courses in various areas including customer services, warehouse and distribution. The training is part of our company wide initiative to enhance capabilities and business performance through employee training and will also form part of our investors for people accreditation which we are working towards.
