New Branded Tags Suit All Security Systems
Unisto’s Brandsecure retail security tags, which provide an attractive alternative to bulky, plain security tags, are now available in RFID, electro-magnetic and acousto-magnetic configurations. This allows retailers to protect goods with stylish tags carrying their own brand names, whatever security technology is employed, says Unisto. “Before we introduced Brandsecure, retailers options were pretty limited if they wanted to tag their goods,” points out Unisto’s UK sales and marketing director, Donald Miller. “Raising customers awareness of security with lumps of white or grey plastic skewered onto goods does not help the buying environment.” Unisto’s Brandsecure tags can be manufactured in the retailers own colours and carry the retailers’ name or logo. Although a pinned version is available, Unisto says its Brandsecure tags that use loops of cable or cord passed, for example, through a buttonhole, are more popular. “They do not damage goods, making them suitable even for fine or delicate items,” says Mr Miller. The original Brandsecure tags were only available for acousto-magnetic activated security systems, but their sales success has encouraged Unisto to offer the RFID and electro-magnetic options. “Customers really liked Brandsecure, but wanted greater flexibility in where it could be used. Now Brandsecure provides reliable security in an attractive package for any outlet,” says Mr Miller.
