EcoDrill for Hinge Holes

If you need to regularly fit doors to cabinets, whether kitchen, bedroom or furniture, this jig is invaluable and you’ll wonder how you ever managed without it. The Ecodrill is designed for use with Blum hinges, drilling accurate hole patterns; a boss/cup hole and then marking either a guide hole for wood screws or 8mm holes for knock in or Inserta hinges. The clamp fits securely to your 15-40mm cabinet door via a quick release fastener. Adjustable backset stops easily allow you to accurately distance the boss hole between 2-8mm from the door edge. Depth of the 35mm hinge hole is variable between 13-15mm. Insert the supplied driver bit into your drill. Slip the bit into a mating nut on the jig and you can start drilling. Then do the same for the two pilot holes. It’s really as simple as that.
