Kramer Clear Rhinestone Demi Parure This stunning Kramer demi parure is prong set with beautiful sparkling clear Austrian rhinestones and consists of a large brooch and clip earrings. The rhinestones are all set in a rhodium plated metal setting which is signed on the back of both earrings, but not on the brooch. It is not unusual for sets to only be signed on certain pieces. The brooch also has a roll over security clasp. The set is in excellent vintage condition. Kramer Jewelry Creations was founded in 1943 in New York by Louis Kramer. Louis was joined by his two brothers Morris and Harry as the company grew, but Louis remained the designer of the superior designs. In the 1950s they also introduced quality tailored designs called the 'Golden Look' which was hard to distinguish from real gold. During their peak years in the 1950s and 60 they produced pieces for Christian Dior, followed by their introduction of the 'Diamond Look' in the 60s. Production sadly ceased in the late 1970s.
