Bristol has a long industrial memory and plenty of dusty processes still running today. The Bristol Fan Company is based in Ashton Vale and has been sorting out local dust problems for over 60 years.
Whether the dust is wood, metal or stone, the approach is the same: understand the hazard, design the capture, choose the filtration and prove it works.
We look closely at the process, the type and volume of dust and how operators work before choosing the right means of capture and filtration. That might be an extraction arm, a down draught bench, a booth or an on tool hi vacuum unit, often a mix of them.
