Woven Glass Sleeving

Cheshire Ribbon manufactures two type of woven sleeving using either ‘E’ Type filament twisted glass yarns or uniform textured ‘E’ type glass yarns. Sleevings woven from ‘E’ type filament twisted glass yarns are inorganic, sterile, non toxic and incombustible. They are resistant to oil solvents and most chemicals and have a low level of leachable chlorides and fluorides. They are suitable for temperatures up to 550?C and have low thermal conductivity. The Lytlleton softening point is 820?C. For automotive applications the tapes are produced to specified diameters with a very high degree of consistency.
