SWEP launches a new Heat pump concept for North America

At the AHR exhibition, SWEP launches a new product range for Heat pump applications. Now more customers can get highly efficient heat transfer solutions with low weight, compact size, and small hold-up volume. SWEP´s Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers (BPHEs) are made of plates of stainless steel bonded together with braze joints of pure copper. The resulting structure is so strong that no seals or frames are needed to achieve hermetically sealed pressure vessels with UL/CSA approval for all commercial refrigerants. BPHEs are high performing and flexible building blocks for heat pumps, allowing for smaller and lighter systems – while improving performance. SWEP has developed an optimized distribution system for ground source heat pumps that assures stable evaporation with low superheat. This both improves system performance and drastically reduces risk of freezing. The SWEP asymmetric reversible condensers combine high efficiency with low internal volume and a smaller-than-expected footprint. The ultra-compact V26F fits next to standard size compressors and has optimized plate geometries for reversible duty and delivers unbeatable performance. The SWEP factory in Tulsa (OK) is a complete production site and logistic hub that serves the whole American continent with BPHEs. Plates are pressed, brazed with desired connection execution, and stocked for immediate shipment to customers.
