Japan's national holidays.

Golden week is a wonderful series of four bank holidays glued together into a week of national celebration. The carp wind socks (or Koi Nobori) above appear for Children's Day and symbolise the persistence of carp as they swim upstream. Greenery Day celebrates nature and there is also a Constitution Day and Emperor Showa's Birthday remembrance. Along with many other businesses Sugatsune Japan takes a break during this week of National Festivities and this will affect air shipments of out of stock items. To avoid disappointment please note: out of stock items ordered between the 26th April and the 10th May will be delivered after the 18th May. We carry a large stock in our UK warehouse so this should not affect most people but just to be sure, if you have a critical purchase for an upcoming project, make sure to order it before the 26th April.
