Pedestrian Guardrail to BS7818 available in a variety of designs for use to separate pedestrians from vehicles, especially around crossing points, schools, busy junctions etc
Where Pedestrian Parapet is required Class 3C panels should be used.
Standard panels have full height infill, for added safety Guardrail with a ‘Sight Gap’ (Vision Gap or ‘Letter Box’) and staggered infill (S8 or ‘Hit and Miss’) may be used. High Visibility Vistarail is an alternative with better visibility through the panel and posts available with S4 (The most common type), S2 or S8 infill patterns.
Guardrail can be root fixed, surface fixed or removable and can be fabricated in raked or radiused form.
