Raised Office Platform

The Raised Office Platform provides a desking area within the warehouse or production environment. By placing the team at a slightly elevated position this is an ideal solution for team leaders and managers to work while allowing a clear view of operators and production processes along with easy access to speak with production or warehouse operators. The platform floor can be designed to hold any number of people and can also be designed to fit your available space. Whether that is a square style floor in the middle of your operation with access on all sides or a long and narrow style with a single only front to fit against an existing wall. The floor height is designed so that those outside of the floor can hold a conversation directly with those sitting at the desks within, therefore ensuring managers and team leaders are directly in contact with operators but also reserving an area of privacy. We can provide the raised office platform as a complete turnkey installation including the floor, desks, chairs, power, data, lighting and heating. Alternatively, we can tailor to your requirements with the client adding their own preferred desks and chairs, data configuration and/or lighting and heating as required. Lighting – where insufficient lighting is currently in place for desk work we can supply additional task lighting. Pictured in the example is a lighting ring system suspended from the ceiling providing adequate lighting lux levels for computer work. Options are available for lighting colour temperature and dimming functions. Heating – where the operating space is not heated or insufficient heating is currently installed then infra-red heaters are an ideal solution. Generally lower temperatures are used in the workspace where operators are active, sedentary office work requires increased ambient temperature to ensure workers are at a comfortable temperature throughout the day or night. Modular heating systems with remote thermostat control provides comfortable heating while also being energy efficient as the infra-red heating only heats the person and not the surrounding air space providing reduced energy bills and emissions. Floor Finish – available as either plain chipboard, carpet tile or vinyl depending on user preference. As warehouses and production areas are busy places and likely have manual handling equipment (MHE) traffic such as forklift trucks and powered pallet movers we can provide impact protection barriers around the floor as well as barriered designated pedestrian walkways for access. These provide additional safety to deflect any impact away from the raised office area, keeping the occupants safe and preventing damage to the floor.
