Our range of medical gas cylinder storage cabinets are designed to provide secure storage for all types and sizes of medical gas cylinders such as medical oxygen or entonox. Ideal for small cylinder storage within hospitals, wards, operating theatres, GP surgeries, clinics and healthcare centres. Our cabinets are ideal for CD and ED cylinders. Medical oxygen and entonox cylinders contain high concentrations of pressurised oxygen which is non-flammable but is a strong oxidant – meaning it greatly increases the rate of combustion of flammable substances in its presence. Therefore medical gas cylinders require careful and secure storage. Medical gas cylinders should be stored in a secure environment such as a cabinet, with restricted access via lock and key. Cylinders should be kept under cover, clean and dry and not subject to extreme heat or cold and kept away from combustible materials. Our medical gas cylinder storage cabinets ensure your cylinders are stored securely, kept separated from other cylinders or gases and well organised to ensure you control both full and empty cylinders. We can design the cabinet to store any number, type and size of cylinder including C, D, CD and E. If you have a combination of sizes we can also design the cabinet to hold both types. Medical gas cylinders can be stored upright, within racks or horizontal on shelf levels. All cabinets are constructed from fully welded steel with powder coated finish, ventilated doors or sides plus with a choice of lock options.
