Twenty years on… and still running.

A customer has returned to ST Machinery to request an identical copy of a conveyor originally built more than 20 years ago — with the original system still in operation today.

The long service life of the existing conveyor gave the customer a proven design to return to when another unit was required. For the new conveyor, they also asked ST Machinery to integrate a table above the conveyor to hold their weighing scales.

This creates a simple workstation where product weights can be checked as part of the production process, combining the established conveyor design with an additional feature suited to the customer’s current requirements.

For ST Machinery, the project is a strong example of a conveyor design that has continued to perform for more than two decades and can still be adapted when production needs change.
