Harrow School - Cold Water Tank Lining

Harrow School - Cold Water Tank Lining Harrow School had a galvanised steel cold water tank in the roof void of their Technology Department. The cold water storage tank was in poor condition with heavy rusting and pitting of the internal surfaces and any work had to be carried out over a weekend. We removed the loose rust, applied a special rust converting primer followed by two coats of a solvent free glass-flake reinforced epoxy water tank lining resin. The school were able to refill the water tank and return it to normal use 12 hours after the final application of resin. The epoxy water tank lining materials used were potable water approved and specifically designed for the refurbishment or renovation of existing in-situ galvanised water tanks
