A Workshop

Type of Project: Workshop Location: South Coast Client Brief: Steel framed paint booth, which was large enough to accommodate the painting of wind turbine blades, which are approximately 95m long. Our Solution: We designed and built the highest cold rolled steel structure within the UK at 100m long x 14m x 13m eaves. To allow our client to easily move the blades into this steel-framed building, our design included a roller door 12m x 12m. As this was a workspace, we included internal cladding to the roof and walls. To ensure the paint fumes were extracted safely we also added 600 lin m of ducting, hidden in the roof void.
