¶ Lathe Chuck Guard PTO 01: PUWER 98 Compliant Lathe Safety Guard Highly Universal TECNO PIU lathe safety guard, stocked here in the UK at Solon Systems Ltd. The PTO 01 lathe chuck guard protects the operator from contact with the upper part of the chuck and from coolant spray. This lathe guard can be attached to the base from the front or the side. Equipped with a steel and polycarbonate semi circular shield. Top quality polycarbonate build ensuring resistance to high impact and excellent visibility. Adjustable for a close fit to the head stock. Complete with safety micro switch conforming to EN 1088. The micro switch will stop the machine from operating when the guard is in the open position. This machine guards provides full operator safety without hindering productivity. This machine guard comes with a certificate of conformity. Compliant with P.U.W.E.R 98 Hinged and interlocked Lathe Chuck Guard for easy fitting to manual centre lathes.
