Job Vacancy – E&I Engineer

SNF Oil & Gas are currently recruiting for a qualified E&I Engineer with a strong maintenance background to manage all electrical and instrumentation activity at our chemical manufacturing site in Billingham. Reporting to the Production Director you will manage a small team of E/I Technicians to deliver improved equipment reliability, develop maintenance strategies and manage E&I projects across a COMAH registered site. Additionally, as the E&I Engineer, you will: -Provide a safe, efficient and coordinated approach to E&I maintenance to deliver key business objectives -Supervise a small team of E&I Technicians whilst managing all E&I maintenance activities and control designated projects across the site -Assist in the preparation of annual budgets for CAPEX activities and manage project / maintenance costs within the department -Develop and maintain an effective programme of equipment inspection to meet statutory requirements -Maintain and develop control systems to deliver process control improvements and improve operational effectiveness -Accurately estimate and deliver project work on time, within budget and to strict EHS compliance targets -Confidently liaise with the Competent Authorities on all matters Requirements: -Formal qualification in an Electrical, Instrumentation or Control discipline with previous site based experience within an E&I capacity -Track record of developing E&I maintenance programmes and equipment reliability targets -A working knowledge of COMAH, Process Safety and/or Hazardous -Ability to supervise and manage a small team of technicians to required project and maintenance targets -Experience in the design, installation and maintenance of SIF’s and understanding of the relevant legislative frame work (standards IEC 61511 and IEC 61508) is essential
