When should I choose an In-Line mixer instead of a static mixer?

Use an In-Line high-shear mixer when you need more demanding mixing: blending liquids with very different viscosities, making fine emulsions or suspensions, dissolving powders or solids, or mixing reactive materials. Static mixers (pipe + baffles) work fine for simple tasks like steady blending of similar liquids — but cannot do heavy-duty mixing.
