Vehicle Retail Site, Evesham, Worcestershire

Sevenoaks Environmental Consultancy (SEC) recently completed a large combined environmental and geotechnical desk study and site investigation of an active vehicle retail site in Evesham. This investigation was carried out to satisfy environmental constraints on planning and to enable appropriate design of both deep strip and pilled foundations in clay and of gas protection measures. The investigation comprised the drilling of 6 cable percussion boreholes, the installation of three monitoring wells, the conduct of 20 window samples, concrete coring and environmental monitoring including surface water, groundwater and gas.
