What are compact duty swivel joints and when are they preferable over standard duty?
Compact duty swivel joints are smaller, lighter designs based on industry standard flange styles (e.g. ASME 16.5 150lb Raised Face). They're suitable when space is limited, or when the loads, pressures, or turbulence encountered are lower. They may be used in tight spaces, or for lighter duty fluid transfer where full-scale large bore units are over-engineered.
