What sets conFORM apart is its elimination of a delicate and expensive EMC gasket, which could be prone to damage during frequent opening and resealing of the enclosure lid.

In lieu of the traditional gasket, conFORM incorporates a groundbreaking patented tooth system that ensures continuous metal-to-metal contact. The unpainted teeth within the base engage with an uncoated rail inside the lid, establishing the required conductivity to effectively shield the enclosed electronics from the harmful effects of RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) and EMI (Electromagnetic Interference). Within the enclosure, users will find threaded screw bosses designed for the effortless installation of PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards), mounting plates, and terminal rails.

These rugged enclosures are meticulously crafted from diecast aluminum and are offered in a total of 14 industry-standard sizes, ranging from dimensions of 84 x 79 x 67 mm to 168 x 268 x 60 mm. As a standard feature, ROLEC's conFORM electronic enclosures are powder-coated in a professional pebble grey (RAL 7032) finish. However, custom colors can be accommodated upon request.
