Automated Yeast Dosing Equipment

Centec’s HDS yeast pitching systems can automatically and homogeneously mix yeast in a wort stream at the correct concentration. The systems use the relationship between turbidity and yeast cell population in order to produce a correlation curve to control the dose rate. Initial turbidity sensors are able to monitor the incoming wort, flow meters measure the wort and the yeast.
