This course focuses on NSI 6 (Work in Substations) and NSI 8 (Earthing High Voltage Equipment) and equips delegates with the knowledge and practical skills needed to safely carry out switching, isolation, and application of portable earths within National Grid substations. Delegates will gain both theoretical understanding and hands-on experience to ensure full compliance with National Grid Safety Rules and procedural requirements for CP authorisation. The National Grid Authorisation Training can only be booked either directly with NG or through the live NG Booking Portal via an approved provider, such as ourselves.
