They have a predefined length and shape and are almost independent of the component parameters. SKYPER®52 offers a high level of signal integrity, providing high immunity from external interference and low electromagnetic radiation. Individual tuning of protection and monitoring settings The failure management can be defined by the user. The failure monitoring includes switching frequency, interlock, supply voltage and short circuit control. Additional failures like temperature or humidity can be analysed by multipurpose input. In case of failure detection all resistors can be turned off by the driver as well as transmit a fault signal without turning off the transistors. IntelliOff including soft turn-off Short circuit protection by means of power transistor desaturation protection prevents over-voltage by smoothly turning off the transistor. Every switching-off process is optimised by IntelliOff. Integrated power and signal transformers Provide safe galvanic insulation up to 4 kV. The customer saves costly transformer solutions. The low coupling capacitance of the signal transformers ensures a high degree of dV/dt ruggedness up to 100 kV/µs. 3,3V and 5V I/O standard (LVDS compatible) The signal inputs and outputs of the driver core´s primary side are compatible to 3.3V and 5V I/O standards. The driver circuit can be directly connected to the microcontroller or DSP without additional level shifting.
