Furukawa triple insulated wire meets all the leading international safety codes and enables transformers to be manufactured to meet safety isolation standerds without the need of margins and tape barriers. The increased winding space permits smaller transformers to be designed and reduces manufacturing time and cost, Conductor diameters range from 0.2 mm to 1 mm. TEX-E wire is now an acknowledged industry leader and in many applications offers significant advantages over other types of wire. Increasingly Design Engineers are recognising the benefits of TEX-E wire and are incorporating it into their transformer designs. Power Magnetics offers a de-reeling service and customers are able to buy as little as 100m of wire (50m for large wire sizes). Customers who are engaged in multiple winding also often find it useful to order wire in equal increments on multiple reels (i.e. 8 reels with 1000m on each reel).
