As part of the above research Nickel-metal-hydride batteries evolved which are similar to sealed nickel-cadmium batteries, but differ from them in that instead of cadmium, hydrogen is used as the active element as a hydrogen-absorbing negative electrode (anode). The electrolyte is an inorganic alkaline (potassium hydroxide) aqueous solution. Cell voltage is 1.2 Volts. Please contact us today for more information.
