SN Setting Records with innovative technology

February 5, 2013 Over the past two years the pouch packaging specialist SN has developed their machinery portfolio with innovations like almost no other. Especially the FM300/400 and FM115-615, two highly efficient machine series. With the FM 300/400 pouch machines, SN now tops its best results with grated cheese: The FM 300/400 delivers 150-180 pouches of 200g per minute instead of previously 120 pouches/min. This is possible because 3 pouches can be produced simultaneously per machine cycle. The FM 400 also works highly efficient with products such as mashed potatoes. In combination with the newly developed 2-component dosing unit 320 stand-up pouches with the dimensions 140 mm x 220 mm with a 25 mm bottom gusset can be filled and sealed every minute. This, too, is a great result. Long established with international food companies is the SN machine series FM 115-615. With up to 600 pouches per minute its capacity is clearly convincing. Additionally, the innovative technology of the FM 115-615 leads to a reduction of energy consumption per pouch by up to 20%. Energy and CO² consumption can furthermore be optimized by using considerably thinner foil on these machines. The trend in continuous machine innovation is set to deliver new developments throughout this coming year too
