New SN Pouch system to be unveiled at Interpack 2017

The worldwide growing number for portion packs with dispensers inspired the machine manufacturer to continuously develop its portfolio. The latest generation pouch filler, type SF400, is currently under development from SN. The new machine concept will be presented to the public for the first time at the Interpack show, the leading international trade fair for the packaging industry, in May 2017. With a maximum output of 250 pouches per minute and a concept for 500 bags per minute, SN has again set a benchmark in the industry. During the development of this new and highly flexible machine concept, SN German Pouch-Pack Technology has successfully combined several proven systems. Pre-made pouches are filled through the spout and then closed. Pre-made pouches are freely available in the market but can also be manufactured on a special SN pouch making machine. Both machines can be combined with each other and so the customer has a complete production line, that combines the benefits of a FS machine with the cost advantages of a form-fill seal machine. Whereas in the past, there was a differentiation between fill-seal machine (FS) and form-fill-seal machine (FFS), SN now offers the possibility to process pre-made standup pouches with reclosure system but also to integrate pouch making in house. The pre-made pouches are freely available independent of the filling system. The SN pouch making equipment can be retrofitted and added at a later date. SN also provides pouch making machines only, for existing FS fillers. Through this separation, the individual requirements of the pouch making and pouch filling can be optimally reacted upon. At Interpack 2017, SN will be located in Hall 08a, booth number A06. Interpack is the essential event for the food, beverage, confectionery, bakery, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, non-food and industrial goods sectors. No other trade fair in the world presents the entire supply chain. At no other trade fair does the packaging industry provide all sectors with tailored solutions and innovative designs based on such a variety of materials, and it is, of course, THE event for the packaging industry. Interpack runs from 4th – 10th May in Dusseldorf, Germany.
