Belt Tension Meter For Industrial Machinery Maintenance
A belt tension meter can be used to determine whether an installed drive belt has the recommended pretension. The target values for the belt tension are specified by the manufacturer of the system or the belt depending on the area of application, material and construction. But it is not only when installing the belts that you have to pay attention to the correct pretension. Since the belt tension can change during operation of a system due to various influences, it should be checked with a suitable belt tension measuring device during regular maintenance and checks, but also if irregularities occur.
