an age-hardening alloy combining the corrosion resistance typical of alloy 400 with increased strength and hardness. It keeps its strength up to about 650C and is strong and ductile at temperatures as low as -250 C. This alloy has a low magnetic permeability and is non-magnetic down to -130 C.
