New Low Profile DIN Rail Enclosures From OKW

OKW has added new low profile models to its tried and tested range of RAILTEC B DIN rail enclosures. RAILTEC B enclosures are extremely versatile. Applications include machine-building, control equipment and the automotive industry. The new low profile models can house single PCBs in the base or top section. They are very useful for equipment assemblies in cabinets where space is tight. Their low profile also makes it much easier to fit controls, displays and connectors. RAILTEC B low profile DIN rail enclosures are designed to fit TH35 x 7.5mm rails. They are fully insulated and protected according to VBG4 and IEC 529/DIN VDE 0470-1. Four module sizes are available: 2 (35 mm), 4 (70 mm), 6 (105 mm) or 9 (157.5 mm) modules. The length is 90 mm and the height is just 31 mm. They are moulded from modified polyether (PPO, Noryl V0-1550, UL 94 V-0) for the base section and polycarbonate (PC, Lexan 940, UL 94 V-0) for the top. Enclosures can be specified as standard in Black RAL 9005 (base) and Light Grey RAL 7035 (top). Prices start at £4. Accessories include terminal guards, a partition plate, front panels, front lids, mounting bracket, terminal blocks and plug headers. There is also the RAILTEC-BUS system which provides common power and data connections between multiple enclosures fitted on the same DIN rail. OKW can supply enclosures fully customised. Services include bespoke colours, CNC milling and drilling, EMC shielding plus silk-screen and tampo printing of legends and logos. Assembly of components is also available.
