Sealant Backing Strip 25mm X 200 Metres

This 25mm Sealant Backing Strip is supplied in a 200 metre length and provides a flexible backing for expansion joints, sealant joints and caulking applications. It helps maintain appropriate joint depth and supports a consistent sealant profile.

Typical uses include vertical and elevated horizontal joints in concrete, brick and metal, plus copings, doors, windows, curtain wall construction and precast units. It can also be used for selected piping applications within the furniture industry.

The strip is waterproof, flexible and offers good recovery after compression. It is compatible with a range of joint sealants including silicone, polysulphide, polyurethane, butyl, bitumen and acrylic products, with no separate bond breaker required.
