Sealant Backing Strip 20mm X 300 Metres Warrington

This 20mm Sealant Backing Strip is supplied in a 300 metre length for use behind joint sealants and caulking materials. Its flexible construction helps establish the correct joint depth while creating a reliable secondary backing within expansion and movement joints.

It can be used in vertical and elevated horizontal joints in concrete, brick and metal, as well as around copings, doors, windows, curtain walling and precast units. The strip may also be suitable for selected furniture and piping applications.

The backing material is waterproof and has good recovery properties after compression. It is compatible with silicone, polysulphide, polyurethane, butyl, bitumen and acrylic sealants and does not require a separate bond breaker.
