Saluting Our Forces – Armed Forces Day 2025

On Thursday 26th June 2025, staff at Niftylift’s Shenley Wood headquarters gathered to commemorate Armed Forces Day with a group salute, joined by two of our hydrogen-electric boom lifts and a classic British military vehicle.

Armed Forces Day is an annual opportunity to show support for the entire Armed Forces community — from active service members and veterans to reservists, cadets, and military families.

To mark this year’s occasion, members of our office and production teams assembled outside for a group photo to ‘Salute Our Forces’, demonstrating our appreciation and respect for those who serve.

In the photo, staff stand proudly alongside George Jackson’s Daimler Ferret MK1/2 — a historic British armoured reconnaissance vehicle — kindly brought in by George from our Product Development team.

Also featured are Niftylift’s HR15 H2E and HR17 H2E boom lifts, the first MEWPs in the world to incorporate hydrogen fuel cell technology. Designed and built in the UK, these pioneering models represent our commitment to innovation and sustainability in access solutions.

We would like to thank everyone who took part in the event and helped make the day special. Most importantly, we extend our sincere gratitude to those who serve, past and present, in the UK Armed Forces.
