Niftylift’s Senior Production Engineer, Bailey Nixon, has been named among South Yorkshire’s Top 30 Under 30 for 2025, recognising his development and growing leadership impact.
Celebrating exceptional young talent at Niftylift
We’re delighted to announce that Bailey has been selected for South Yorkshire’s Top 30 Under 30 2025. The programme showcases the region’s brightest emerging leaders and provides a year of high-quality development to support them early in their leadership journeys.
Winners are chosen through a nomination and judging process, then complete a 12-month leadership experience delivered through the LEAP Programme. The initiative is designed to recognise, retain and develop South Yorkshire’s future leaders.
Bailey’s journey to the Top 30 Under 30
Bailey’s nomination arrived unexpectedly at the start of the year, submitted anonymously by someone who recognised his dedication and leadership at Niftylift. After evaluation by the judging panel, he was selected as one of this year’s winners and joined the cohort at a welcome event alongside other outstanding young professionals from across the region.
Over the year, Bailey completed ten intensive leadership sessions focused on building self-awareness, communication, confidence and resilience. Core modules included coaching and ‘fearless’ communication, presentation and influencing skills, leading with authenticity, performance management and confidence-building. Together, they support the programme’s mission to develop and retain top young talent.
Reflecting on a transformational year
Bailey said: “It feels incredible to be recognised for my contributions to Niftylift as well as my journey so far. Having been at Niftylift for 12 years, it can be difficult to benchmark myself against external organisations, but the last few months have shown me I’m doing well and deserve recognition in my career.”
The programme has strengthened his confidence and reaffirmed his ambitions for the future. He aims to continue progressing in engineering and management and looks forward to new challenges with Niftylift’s support.

What’s next for Bailey?
