Celebrating 40 Years of Innovation

In May, we welcomed over 300 guests to Niftylift’s Shenley Wood headquarters and Whittlebury Hall to mark our 40th anniversary with two days of innovation, collaboration and celebration.

A Milestone Event

On 22nd and 23rd May 2025, more than 130 suppliers and over 200 customers from across the UK and around the world joined us for a truly memorable occasion. From exclusive product launches and machine demonstrations to a Gala Dinner to remember, the event honoured four decades of progress and the people who made it possible.

Showcasing Innovation at Shenley Wood

The open days at Shenley Wood provided guests with a chance to experience the full Niftylift product range first-hand. Highlights included global unveilings of new models such as the diesel-powered HR12 4x4, offering customers an alternative to the Gen2 Hybrid model.

We also introduced the HR12NEX, an upgraded version of the HR12NE featuring a larger cage for increased capacity, and the HR12NEXR, which includes a range-extending diesel engine. Guests were invited to test the new machines themselves, explore the demonstration and display zones, and enjoy our hospitality throughout.

Factory Tours Led by Apprentices

Our apprentices played a key role in the event, leading guided tours of our state-of-the-art production facilities. Their enthusiasm and professionalism impressed everyone, including Phil Leahy of Sunbelt Rentals, who commented:

“From the moment I arrived, I was impressed—particularly by the factory tour led by two of your apprentices, who were an absolute credit to the company. Their enthusiasm, passion, and drive for the Niftylift product were truly inspiring.”

Gala Dinner at Whittlebury Hall

The evening of 22nd May saw VIP guests gather at Whittlebury Hall for a black-tie Gala Dinner hosted by presenter Daisie-Belle Downer. After a champagne reception, guests enjoyed a three-course meal, live music, entertainment, and a lively atmosphere into the early hours.

A highlight of the evening came as our founder, Roger Bowden, and Managing Director, John Keely, took to the stage to thank guests and reflect on Niftylift’s journey since 1985.

A Legacy of Partnership

As Martin Kirby, Managing Director of Johnson Arabia, shared:
“I feel very special as a client. I think they look after me and my business on an individual basis. It’s not just all about business…”

This ethos of partnership has always been at the heart of Niftylift and will continue to guide us into the future.
