NGK positions C17510 Beryllium Copper for production-friendly stamped connectors in OEM connector programmes. C17510, or CuNi2Be / Berylco 14, is positioned as a high-conductivity beryllium copper alloy with strong formability. NGK says its B14 S temper combines excellent conductivity with high strength and can be supplied mill-hardened so stamped parts do not need extra heat treatment after forming. NGK’s pitch is blunt: strong conductivity, good formability and no post-stamp ageing headache. For manufacturers, that means better reliability in service and fewer compromises during forming, machining or assembly.
