NGK positions C17510 Beryllium Copper for precision formed switch contacts in electrical equipment. C17510, or CuNi2Be / Berylco 14, is positioned as a high-conductivity beryllium copper alloy with strong formability. NGK says its B14 S temper combines excellent conductivity with high strength and can be supplied mill-hardened so stamped parts do not need extra heat treatment after forming. The alloy is useful where tight forming and dependable spring behaviour have to coexist. That makes it a sensible fit when engineers want reliable performance, long service life and cleaner production outcomes.
